History of X Limit Entertainment

X Limit Entertainment was founded in 2005 by Phi Huynh when the original name was entitled, "Team X Limit" or simply "X Limit". The cause of team's construction was to represent an idea. A collection of movement ideas which were based on strictly martial arts and how to modernize it to entertainment by transitioning away from traditional Martial arts.

At that time, X Limit had an all male roster of 5 members which had different disciplines of traditional martial arts: Karate, Tae Kwon Do, Kung fu and Muay Thai boxing. With these 4 as the main genres of movement, Gymnastics was taken up at a local gym in Brampton Ontario in order to expand their archives of movement. It was not until they were inspired by Mike Chat, the founder of XMA. This new extreme sport had taken X Limit to a new realm which later on developed a passion for. Names such as Steve Terada, Kim Do Nguyen and Matt Emig at the time were an all time high for inspirations to us.

X Limit then had an idea of showcasing their skills on stage. Their very first show was none other then at the Rose Theatre at Brampton for a City wide Talent Showcase. The show was a main stepping stone for the boys as they all conquered their stage freight and ended up having a pleasant taste of what it was like being on a Theatre stage in front of a crowd of 600. As a result, it drew them closer as a group and further developed their passion for their career which was performing at the time.
X Limit pursued their performance careers by then consistently booking live performance gigs for the following venues and charity foundations.

    - Sick Kids Hospital/ Sick Kids Foundation
    - Toronto Blue Jays Sponsored Events / CANAAF Alopecia Areata Foundation
    - Toronto Night Markets/ Night it up 2007 and 2013.
    - Kollaboration Toronto (Best Known for Street Fighter Cosplay performance, YOUTUBE's front page in 2007)
    - Caruso Films. live premiere of the feature film "TOUGH LOVE" Starring Tina Tran.
    - Toronto East General Hospital performance videos.
    - Numerous Chinese & Vietnamese Lantern Festivals

      ... and much more!
